Hiland Dairy Unveils New Ice Cream Flavor Inspired by Silver Dollar City’s New Roller Coaster
Hiland Dairy has partnered with Silver Dollar City amusement park to create an exciting new ice cream flavor, inspired by the upcoming opening of the parks new indoor roller coaster this spring.
“Fire in The Hole” ice cream pays tribute to the vibrant history of the Ozarks, featuring an enticing blend of creamy marshmallow-flavored ice cream, decadent chocolate ribbons, and crispy graham cracker pieces reminiscent of a traditional s’more.
Drawing inspiration from the legendary night when Baldknobbers illuminated the mining town of Marmaros, this new treat captures the essence of that historic event, inviting taste buds on a journey through time.
Sarah Carey, Hiland Dairy’s marketing manager, expressed excitement about the partnership with Silver Dollar City, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Silver Dollar City to bring the magic of the Fire in The Hole roller coaster to our customers through our Fire in The Hole ice cream. Everyone loves the classic taste of s’mores, and this ice cream captures that flavor perfectly.”
The collaboration between Hiland Dairy and Silver Dollar City has resulted in three memorable ice cream flavors, showcasing their dedication to delivering unique and unforgettable experiences to customers.
“Fire in The Hole” ice cream will hit retailers in April, with exclusive tastings available at the theme park’s Hannah’s Ice Cream Shop on opening day, March 9.
Scheduled to open in the spring of 2024, the custom-designed Fire in The Hole roller coaster will make history as the Heartland’s largest indoor coaster. Located at Silver Dollar City’s Fire District, it will serve as the anchor attraction, promising an exhilarating experience for guests.
