FastPass+ For Toy Story Land Now Available
Even though Toy Story Land hasn’t opened yet, FastPass+ Toy Story Attraction reservations are now open for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels!
Starting today, FastPass+ reservations can be made for all the new attractions in the Toy Story expansion including Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Toy Story Mania! Guests who are up to 60 days from their Walt Disney World Resort hotel check-in can choose one FastPass+ reservation for any one of the Toy Story Land attractions, plus two other attractions in the park such as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and more, depending on availability.
That’s not all! There’s more good news for park guests as well! Starting July 1, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will offer expanded hours of operation from 8 a.m-10:30 p.m. for a limited time. Furthermore, additional Extra Magic Hour opportunities will be available including daily morning Extra Magic Hours, as well as evening Extra Magic Hours offered once per week.
Guests will be shrunk down to the size of a toy while exploring the adventurous outdoors of Andy’s 11-acre backyard. The main attraction in the new land is Slinky Dog Dash, a family launch coaster from Mack Rides. Riders will experience the fun adventure created with Andy’s Mega Coaster play kit featuring the beloved characters of Jessie and Slinky himself. The new coaster is a ride for the whole family where Slinky Dog twists his coils around curves, hills, and drops across Toy Story Land.

The second attraction is the highly energetic Alien Swirling Saucers — featuring those love-able aliens from Pizza Planet. The aliens will take guests on a wild ride, while “The Claw” is suspended overhead.
Even with the park receiving two unique attractions, another beloved attraction is also being updated. The iconic Toy Story Mania that debuted in 2008 will be receiving a makeover to coincide with the new expansion. Now, riders will enter the attraction by means of walking through a carnival game box — and the addition of a third track will result in the ride having a greater capacity than before.
“With set pieces, staging, attractions and experiences Toy Story Land represents the best of Walt Disney Imagineering’s collaboration with our storytelling partners at Pixar Animation Studios,” said Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. “This new land will place guests inside the wondrous world of Woody, Buzz and their pals – and invite everyone to experience the joy of being a toy.”
Along with the new attractions, a new restaurant will be opening with the expansion. Woody’s Lunch Box will be a walk up eatery that offers delicious meals, traditional old-fashioned soda floats, along with other tasty eats and treats! The land will also feature an array of themed decorations which include toys such as Green Army Men, Rubik’s Cubes, and of course Tinkertoys!
Toy Story Land will open to guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 30, 2018. As with most new theme park expansions, we expect the land to have a soft opening before June 30th, but there’s no telling how soon that will be.
