2 New Rides Coming To Canada’s Wonderland in 2018
Canada’s Wonderland re-opens for the 2018 season on April 29th. With a new season comes new thrills, new memories, and most importantly, new changes!
Canada’s Wonderland has officially released the 2018 park map, allowing fans to get a first look at the changes made to the park during winter.
As previously announced, Canada’s Wonderland will be adding two new attractions for the 2018 season. Lumberjack, a high intensity thrill ride that will take riders through an exhilarating 75 foot loop.
Likewise, for those not interested in thrill rides, the park will be adding Flying Canoes, an interactive family ride.
That’s not all. Splash Works, the park’s waterpark, is transforming into Lakeside Lagoon. This wadding pool will double its size and feature all-new interactive spray features that whole family will enjoy.
In regards to food options, several eateries were renamed throughout the park. The new names are:
- Action Zone Poutinerie
- Waveside Tikki Bar
- Minebuster Bar
- School House Snacks
- Après Poutinerie
- Sugar Bush Waffle Dairy Bar
- and Medieval Refreshments
Aside from renaming the eateries, the park has also completely renovated the Courtyard Group Catering Facility. When it re-opens for the 2018 season, guests will notice that the old structures have been replaced by seven new timber pavilions!
When the park reopens, guests can also observe the preliminary work done for the park’s 2019 project, which Coaster Nation has previously covered in the past. More info about that new project here…
