Hurricane Irma Destroys Pirates Dinner Show Roof in Orlando
Hurricane Irma blew through Florida over the weekend leaving the Orlando attractions with mostly minimal damage.

Originally meteorologists had projected the hurricanes path to head straight through Tampa, Florida. Fortunately, Irma took a sudden turn to the East and busted up the most powerful part of the storm. Irma did pass over the Orlando attractions and theme parks, but since it was significantly less powerful, the damages were minimal and included mostly trees and debris. One Orlando attraction however wasn’t so lucky…

Celebrating its 20th year in Orlando, The Pirates Dinner Adventure theater was hit hard and lost a big section of its roof. Photos from Jerry McNeely’s Jam Sky Cam show some of the damages.

While watching, guests are served an appetizer, a main course, and then dessert. Here’s a few photos and a video of what the show normally looks like.
