Triotech Releases Images Of New Fear The Walking Dead Attraction
Look out Vegas, zombies are taking over! The Las Vegas Fremont Street Experience, a 24-hour entertainment destination complete with casinos, restaurants, ziplines, and much more has partnered with Triotech, a Canadian tech company that creates innovative and immersive attractions and dark rides, to make AMC’s hit series “Fear the Walking Dead” a REALITY.
The groundbreaking attraction set to debut this Summer is being described as part thrill ride, part escape room, part maze, part haunted house and part video game. It will feature elaborate sets, the latest high end audio and video, as well as high-tech motion simulator technology.
Upon entering into the “Fear the Walking Dead Survival” experience, guests will find themselves in the setting of a temporary military facility set inside a junior college amidst growing rumors of a zombie outbreak. Brave souls will have to explore the inner-workings of the military-controlled facility, which includes multiple zones and various experiences, to face their fears and protect their lives against a bloodthirsty hoard of the infected. Visitors will need to utilize their survival skills and instincts to fight off the never-ending zombies to hopefully escape back into the real world. The experience itself will last about 18 minutes, although with the pre-show entertainment and check-in, it should be around 22 minutes in total.
“Fremont Street Experience is always looking to create the optimum experience for our guests, including tourists and locals alike,” said Fremont Street Experience CEO and President, Patrick Hughes. “We’re excited to partner with Triotech, a leader in creating innovative and immersive attractions in the entertainment sector along with AMC, which is home to some of the top rated, most critically acclaimed, fan-favorite programs on television.”
Aside from saying Summer 2017, an official opening day hasn’t been announced yet, but we expect the attraction to open to the public in early August 2017. An official “evacuation warning” will be issued this month with more details. Until then check out the promo images!
