Select Cedar Fair Parks Offering All Season Fast Lane Pass

During the off-season, Cedar Fair sent surveys to season pass holders about drink plans and the refillable plastic souvenir bottles. A few months after that survey, Cedar Fair announced a new all-season drink plan that allows guests the option to get a disposable cup every fifteen minutes instead of having to carry around a plastic souvenir bottle. However, the two plans are separate. When you activate the drink plan, you must select the souvenir bottle plan or the disposable cup plan. Not both.

In February, Cedar Point rolled out an all new responsive website design to make their information more streamlined and more accessible To guests. They also re-designed the Cedar Point logo which will be slowly popping up in new places over time. Now, other Cedar Fair parks are beginning to roll out their new websites similar to Cedar Point’s. Among those are Carowinds, Kings Dominion, and California’s Great America. It’s all part of an ongoing re-branding effort to make their website more accessible on mobile as well as desktop.

Now, some of the Cedar Fair parks are offering a limited number of Season Fast Lane and Season Fast Lane Plus passes you can add onto your pass! The passes are good for the 2017 season of the park selected, but can’t be applied to Winterfest.

The park’s currently offering the All Season Fast Lane Passes are:

  • California’s Great America
  • Carowinds
  • Dorney Park
  • Kings Dominion
  • Valleyfair
  • Worlds of Fun

It’s interesting to note that Kings Island and Cedar Point are not offering these plans this year. Could we be seeing the rest of the parks rolling out the same options next year? With only a limited number available, it seems like they’re trying to prevent the Season Fast Lane passes from making the Fast Lane lines too long. What do you think about the new option?
