Schlitterbahn Waterparks Opening For Spring Break
Schlitterbahn Waterparks in Texas will be open this year for Spring Break March 11-19, 2017 for what the park is calling Bahn Break! While guests look to bring their family to the Schlitterbahn of their choice, they’ll notice there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Schlitterbahn is a family-owned and operated company based in New Braunfels, Texas operating 5 unique waterparks. The company began its first park, Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort, in 1979. Since then, Schlitterbahn has developed three waterparks located in Texas and one in Kansas City, Kansas. Let’s break down what’s in store at each Texas park for Spring Break.
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels:
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels will open the entire Blastenhoff section for visitors to come enjoy the world famous Master Blaster, thrills of Wolfpack and Black Knight or float the day away in the Torrent Wave River.
Schlitterbahn Galveston:
Schlitterbahn Galveston Island’s heated indoor park is best for those who are ready for thrills on the Guada Loopy or Loopy Luge, take a vertical plunge on the Rohr!, or enjoy a drink at the Wasserfest Heated Pool & Swim-Up Bar.
Schlitterbahn South Padre Island:
The Schlitterbahn Beach Resort‘s heated indoor waterpark in South Padre Island has everything needed for a quick getaway: Los Rios Azul Torrent River, Blackbeard’s Twister and Lafitte’s Cyclone tube rides and, best of all, beach front access.
Schlitterbahn Corpus Christi:
Last but certainly not least, Schlitterbahn Corpus Christi will be operating under Schlitterbahn Lite – limited attractions, light on the wallet! The newest member to the waterpark family will feature the SkyBlaster water coaster, Boogie Bahn and Krystal River – which allows guests enjoy a leisurely float around the open section of the park!
Ever dream of a place where you can just float all day and never get out of a tube? Schlitterbahn is the answer! They use an incredible Transportainment River System, which allows guests to float throughout the entire park on a tube without ever leaving the water! You can relax in heated pools, float down man-made rivers or zip down twisting flumes or slides that are several stories high making Schlitterbahn the perfect Spring Break get away, especially if you have never visited a Schlitterbahn waterpark before!
