When it comes to LED lighting, Gantom, (formerly known as darklight) is a household name in the theme park and haunted attraction industries. Gantom is an award winning manufacturer of ultra-compact specialty LED lighting and controls serving themed entertainment, theatre, haunted attractions, museums and architectural markets. Gantom, (formerly Darklight) was founded in spring of 2010 as a manufacturer of special effects lighting equipment catering to the themed attraction industry. They specialize in illumination of low-light and space constrained environments where traditional theatrical luminaires are not suitable. The “Precision” series of LED fixtures were developed with compactness, safety, modularity, and ease of use in mind, allowing lighting designers to illuminate environments that were not previously possible with larger fixtures. In 2011, they expanded their product line to include self-developed compact controllers that add a dynamic element to our luminaires.

In late 2012, Gantom (formerly Darklight) launched a new line of products catering to the professional lighting and architectural markets called the “Gantom” series. The industry recognized Gantom iQ, an ultra-compact image projector, spearheaded our focus into the specified lighting market. their award winning products have since become the “secret weapon” of many lighting designers and industry experts and have been installed in a wide range of applications including theme parks, museums, bars & clubs, casinos, and haunted attractions all around the world.

Since Gantom’s founding in 2010 it’s products have become known for quality as well as compactness, with more power, precision and versatility than traditional units. Recent installations featuring Gantom fixtures include the renovated First World War Galleries at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, and renovations of two rides at Water World in the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District (Colorado, USA) which were honored with the Golden Ticket Award. Gantom has won numerous awards since their inception including multiple awards from the Haunted Attraction Association, the PLASA member’s choice award at LDI 2013 and they were also a Brass Ring award winner in 2011 at IAAPA for “Best new Product”.

Originally hired as a project manager at Gantom, Fusman’s experience ranges from engineering to sales and customer service in overlapping fields – a diverse background that Gan sees as beneficial to the company especially in light of recent expansion.
