Kings Island is debuting an all new Camp Cedar Luxury resort in 2021. The luxury outdoor resort and RV park will be located less than a mile from Kings Island’s front gate, welcoming Kings Island guests, families, vacationers and RV travelers to a family lodging and outdoor recreational destination. More details here.
Kings Island continues to monitor the ever-changing conditions surrounding the pandemic and is actively working with health experts and government officials to maintain the highest safety standards for guests and associates. The park has developed an extensive coronavirus reopening plan that include new processes and enhanced procedures throughout the park to help reduce the spread of germs.
Before You Leave Home
Kings Island will open with limited capacity in the park so you can maintain proper social distancing from other guests. To ensure that happens, you will need to plan for your visit in advance. You should be prepared to bring the following items with you when the park reopens:
- Your Season Pass, mobile or printed tickets.
- A face covering for each guest two years and older. Face coverings should completely cover the nose and mouth, and not have exhalation valves or vents, which allows virus particles to escape.
- Contactless payment method (other than cash) such as credit card, Apple Pay, and Android Pay.
- A mobile phone with the Kings Island app downloaded and “Location Services” enabled. At least one person in your group must have this, but we recommend as many guests as possible have the app downloaded to their mobile device.
Guests are encouraged to go to visitkingsisland.com for the latest updates on requirements, policies and safety protocols for the 2021 season, as these guidelines may be revised prior to opening day.
