Kennywood’s Phantom Fright Nights Prepares To Unleash It’s 13th Season Of Terror!
The worst nightmares always keep coming back… Like the undead crawling out of their graves, Phantom Fright Nights is back at Kennywood in Pittsburgh, PA! Starting Friday September 26th, guests can experience “One of the Best Halloween Events” in the world!
Celebrating 13 terrifying years, Kennywood’s transformation into Phantom Fright Nights is near completion for another horrifying Halloween season! Phantom Fright Nights will be open for 13 nights starting Friday, September 26th, and continuing the following Friday and Saturday evenings through November 1st, 7:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m. Also, an additional night of horror has been added to the calendar for Sunday, October 12th, 7:00-11:00 p.m.
Amusement Today, an amusement industry publication, has taken notice of the attraction’s attention to detail and named Phantom Fright Nights “One of the Best Halloween Events” with the annual Golden Ticket Awards readers’ poll. In addition, The parks classic Noah’s Ark received top honors for the 5th year in a row, and received a Golden Ticket Award for the Best Walk-Through Attraction in the World.
In honor of Phantom Fright Nights’ 13th season, Noah’s Ark will become more intense than ever. Noah’s Ark will undergo a chilling transformation and leave you looking over your shoulder at every turn. Beginning October 3rd, guests will have the unique opportunity to experience Ark in the Dark. From 12:00-1:00 a.m., the lights go out and something sinister takes over. A maximum of 2 people at a time will venture into an unknown experience and attempt to survive in complete darkness, unaware of what may or may not be waiting. In addition, 17 Kennywood thrill rides will be transformed into a sinister alter ego, and the rest of the park will be covered with 1,000 gallons of fog fluid, 10,000 plus Halloween lights, and more than 300 ghouls, vampires and other creatures of the night!
