New Family Coaster Set To Debut At Djurs Sommerland In 2018
Following the success of the popular DrageKongen family inverted coaster, Djurs Sommerland in Denmark, has announced two new attractions for the 2018 season!
Jungle Rally, will be the park’s second family coaster added in two years. The ride, a standard Zierer Force Zero, will reach a height of 13.1 ft, and will be 229.1 feet long with a height requirement of 90 cm.
The second ride, Safaribussen, judging from the concept art, appears to be a standard Zamperla Crazy Bus attraction. The park describes the new addition as a ride that is “full of surprises when the driver suddenly loses his way and drives round in circles“. Furthermore, there is no height requirement for this attraction.
Both attractions will be placed next to the DrageKongen coaster, in the Sommerland section of the park—which is the area shown with all the location markers.
The overall cost for the two new additions was over 2 million Euros ($2,482,680 in US). This addition was also part of a 55 million Euro ($68,273,700 US) expansion, which has added over 27 rides to the park.
