Bands, Brews, and BBQs at Carowinds

Looking for a way to end summer with a bang? Now you can fire up the grill with Carowinds every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday now through August 14 for Bands, Brews, and BBQs!

Whether you spend the day splashing around at the new Carolina Harbor waterpark, conquering a collection of thrilling coasters, or watching live shows like the new Cirque Imagine you’re sure to work up  quite the appetite at Carowinds!  Now  during Brands, Brews, and BBQ, you can head over toward Harmony Hall to try out a variety of different meats like beef brisket, turkey legs, and even duck! Then you can add your choice of sauce ranging anywhere from sweet to mustard to vinegar. Pair your delicious BBQ with some craft brews from several Carolina breweries and don’t forget to dessert! Finish off your meal with some homemade banana pudding.

“We’re so pleased to bring back Bands, Brews and BBQs for another year at the park,” says Kris Suita, Carowinds executive chef. “We’ve brought together three favorites under one roof- food, brew and music. Mix that with world-class rides and attractions, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for fun.”

Not only can you enjoy some delicious BBQ and brew, you can also enjoy dinner and a show! Local bands will take the stage at the patio near Harmony Hall to rock out to some of your favorite tunes! Sit back and enjoy the music or try your hand at Beer Pong or Beer Slides.  Representatives from Cabelas will be demonstrating how to smoke meats so you can recreate some of these yummy dishes at home!

Fun shows and BBQ isn’t the only thing Carowinds has to offer. There’s a huge variety of thrill rides to pick from such as FURY 325. If you haven’t ridden FURY325 yet, then you have no idea what you’re missing!
