COASTERSTOCK Returns To Kings Island With 3 Days of Coaster Fun!
Calling all coaster fans!! Get ready for the most anticipated event of the summer! After much success in 2015, Kings Island is ready to host their second annual COASTERSTOCK event!
In case you missed last years Coasterstock event, we’ll bring everyone up to speed. Coasterstock is every roller coaster enthusiasts dream come true! Imagine walking into an amusement park with little to no lines, going behind-the-scenes to restricted areas for photo ops, playing games and fun contests with fellow coaster nerds, plus eat an amazing buffet of Ohio’s favorite BBQ! Well, we just described a little bit of what this coaster crazed event has to offer!
In 2015, more than 500 coaster fans attended the inaugural Coasterstock event at Kings Island. With much success, the park has decided to not only host another one, but they are even extending it from two days to THREE! Coasterstock is a special 3-day event that includes some awesome gifts, exclusive ride times, behind-the-scenes tours, delicious catered park meals, and guest speakers! Did we mention THREE DAYS OF ERT (exclusive ride time) on some of the world’s best roller coasters!?!?!

The 2nd annual Coasterstock will take place at Kings Island May 20-22 2016 and feature hours of morning and night time ERT including night rides on THE BEAST! If you have never ridden the BEAST at night, you’re not living! Many times throughout the summer the park closes before it’s even dark. Coasterstock will gurantee coaster fans exclusive rides in the dark with little to NO LINES!

To attend, attendees must be a member of one of the 8 qualified coaster clubs. (Coaster Crew, ACE, GOCC, TPR, Coaster Buzz, FL Coaster Club, Coaster Club of Great Britain, Eruopean Coaster Club) Once a club member, guests can purchase tickets, then pre-register for the event. Coasterstock will probably sell out and there will be no on-site registration, so register early if you plan on attending. The fees to attend are minimal and offer different rates for season passholders and non-season pass holders. Last years event brought together more than 500 people from 24 states and Canada. With all the hype from 2015, we expect the tickets to sell very fast for 2016!
Coasterstock was one of the first events that brought lots of the coaster clubs together. It didn’t matter which club participants were from, everyone interacted with each other and had a great time coasting together! With some parks being so strict on who attends their events and media days recently, this is your chance to have some VIP fun in Ohio! We are hoping that others in the industry follow along to create these ultimate coaster days for their super fans!

There’s a magnitude of different things we would say is a must see or must do at Kings Island, but one thing out of the ordinary we want to say is a Kings Islands “must try” is the chocolate covered s’mores at Sweet Spot! They are sooooo delicious!!
