Carowinds Leaks Hidden Centurion Page On Their Website

Cedar Fair has had some “so called” mishaps over the past few years. Last year, Cedar Point’s Gatekeeper website was released before the announcement. Kings Island pulled a similar stunt releasing “The Bat’s page” before the Banshee announcement to create some hype. While many thought these leaks were mistakes, it was well planned marketing tools for bloggers… that worked!

Carowinds has been creating some buzz with their teasers regarding their new 2015 coaster. A few days ago Carowinds released a secret page within their website advertising “Centurion”, The new highly anticipated coaster for 2015. Was the page a mistake? This was most likely another strategic move to throw all the eager fans off before the parks August 21st announcement… and while all the facts point to the new coaster being named Centurion, there has been no official announcement yet.

One thing is for sure, The Carowinds official website had the page below up on and off the past few days which features a countdown clock with the Roman themed date and message.
