IAAPA to Announce 2021 Award Winners of Global Attractions Industry During Virtual Event

IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, will announce the winners of its annual awards programs throughout an entire week! Starting Monday, Nov. 1, each day at 11am. on Facebook, IAAPA will announce a new category of winners and inductees .

“We invite the entire attractions community to join us as we announce this year’s outstanding winners and Hall of Fame Inductees,” said Hal McEvoy, president and CEO. “The IAAPA Awards programs honor and celebrate excellence, service, passion, creativity and dedication to the global attractions industry, and we are excited by the diversity of experience and innovation this year’s winners represent.” 

During the virtual program IAAPA will announce the winners for:  

  • IAAPA Hall of Fame Awards (Nov. 1) 
    The IAAPA Hall of Fame honors individuals whose work and accomplishments have made significant and lasting contributions to the global attractions industry. 
  • IAAPA Service Awards (Nov. 2) 
    The IAAPA Service Awards, including the IAAPA Lifetime Service Award, the IAAPA Outstanding Service Award, and the IAAPA Meritorious Service Award, honor individuals for their outstanding contributions to IAAPA and the global attractions industry. 
  • IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award (Nov. 2) 
    The IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award honors members who demonstrate a dedication to the attractions industry through leadership, teamwork, and integrity, as they continue to develop their knowledge and experience in the attractions industry. 
  • IAAPA Brass Ring Awards (Nov. 3, 4 and 5) 
    The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards recognize amusement parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, science centers, family entertainment centers (FECs), and attractions excellence in categories including food and beverage, games and retail, human resources, live entertainment, marketing, new products, and exhibits.  

This year’s virtual award announcement allows more members than ever before to share and celebrate in the exciting news. Winners will also be honored in-person next month at IAAPA Expo 2021 in Orlando, Florida.
