Frontier City’s Wildcat To Receive Update For 2021 Season
Oklahoma’s leading destination for thrills, family entertainment, and the first theme park in the US to open in 2020, is making plans to re-open on March 13. When the park re-opens, the Wildcat coaster will look (and feel) a little different.

All new trains will take riders on an unforgettable journey of tight turns and zero Gs as the classic wooden coaster Wildcat gets outfitted for wild, new fun.

Originally opened in 1991, Wildcat has been a staple of Frontier City after being relocated from Kansas City’s now defunct Fairyland Park. The ride opened with two “Century Flyer” trains, which were replaced in 1999 with a single PTC train (Philadelphia Toboggan Company) consisting of three cars.

Aside from the new trains, the 2021 season will also include the park’s full lineup of thrilling roller coasters, rides, and attractions along with unique, special events for the whole family to enjoy.
Frontier City is a western-themed amusement park in Oklahoma City owned by EPR, and operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. Frontier City is one of three Six Flags parks that is not currently branded as a Six Flags park, with Great Escape in Queensbury, New York and La Ronde in Montreal, Quebec, Canada being the other two.

Frontier City is scheduled to open for the 2021 season on March 13.
