Mt. Olympus To Add Hercules – America’s First SlideWheel

One of the most innovative amusement park attractions over the last few years has been a product from Whitewater West called ‘The SlideWheel’.

This new cutting edge attraction combines both the thrills of a high speed waterside and the slow gentle rotation of a Ferris Wheel. Here’s a demo model of the slide in action to better understand how it works.

Ever since the ride made its debut in China, Americans have been wondering which park will be the first to install it in the states.

Amusement park enthusiasts may have finally gotten their answer as Mt Olympus’ is promoting a new ride named ‘Hercules’ on their website.

The ride’s description reads:

“Americas First SlideWheel!

Coming in the Summer of 2021 this monster of an attraction will take just under a year to complete!

A familiar sight in amusement parks, the captivating display of moving attractions has never been seen or experienced before in a Water Park this side of the planet. You won’t see anything quite like this anywhere in the Americas.  It’s a first-of-its-kind anchor attraction with a first-of-its-kind  Ride experience.”
