A Walk Inside the Scare Zones of Halloween Horror Nights 26
We take a closer look inside the five Scare Zones at Halloween Horror Nights 26 at Universal Orlando!
When entering the park, the first Scare Zone you’ll most likely walk into is A Chance in Hell. It features several mini-stages, with Chance herself taking center stage as she argues with her own thoughts. Her thoughts aren’t the only thing she interacts with… Chance is very quick witted and interacts with by standers all night as she tries recruiting cellmates to join her biggest act yet. Beware, Chance sometimes gets a little R-rated and shows off her panties on occasion… Watch below
If you go to the right when you enter the park, you’ll step right into Vamp ’55. This Scare Zone is set up like a homecoming parade for Hollywood High School’s class of 1955. Everything is perfect until the greasers roll into town with fangs as sharp as their switchblades…
Over in the New York area you’ll enter what looks like a classic war. In Survive or Die Apocalypse, gangs are trying to take control of a machine that provides clean air, and they are looking for new members. While winding through the flame fueled pyro effects, guests have the choice to join them, or feed their starving ranks!
Continuing into the San Francisco area of the park. The spirits of the fishing vessel Annabel Lee’s lost crew have returned to punish those who left them to die on the seas, and make sure the dock earns its morbid nickname. This is one of our favorite scare zones as the boat and decor feature some very high detail!
The final Scare Zone is on the walkway near the NBC Media Center and it’s been transformed into the Lair of the Banshee. Here you’ll encounter evil spirits and horrific creatures of the ancient world inside a centuries-old dark hollow.
The five scare zones for 2016 are really good compared to years past. We can’t applaud Universal Creative enough for hitting on all cylinders. In addition to the five Scare Zones, guests can also check out the Academy of Villains: House of Fear stage show set up near Mel’s Die-In. This California performance troupe features high-energy dance and specialty acts themed to a prison riot at Shadybrook. It is simply AMAZING! Watch the highlights below.
