311 And Phillip Phillips Set To Perform At Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras Celebration This Weekend
Mardi Gras continues this weekend at Universal Orlando Resort, featuring live performances by 311 on Saturday, March 3, and Phillip Phillips on Sunday, March 4.
Formed in Omaha, Nebraska, by Nick Hexum, S.A. Martinez, Tim Mahoney, Chad Sexton and P-Nut, 311 mixes rock, rap, reggae and funk to create a unique hybrid sound. The band recently released its 12th studio album, “MOSAIC,” which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, marking 311’s 10th consecutive top 10 album. It features “Too Much to Think,” “Too Late” and “Perfect Mistake.”
Phillip Phillips’ earthy, guitar-fueled rock debuted with the platinum album, “The World from the Side of the Moon,” featuring his five-time platinum debut single “Home,” followed by his second album, “Behind the Light,” featuring the folk-rock hit “Raging Fire.” His new album, “Collateral,” brings fans the hit singles, “Magnetic” and “Miles.”
Guests can indulge in Cajun-style cuisine, be enthralled by the constellation-themed parade which will include six new floats , and enjoy music performed by live bands from the Big Easy and more!
Musical entertainment, featuring live concerts by some of the biggest names in music, continues on select nights through March 25th. Mardi Gras will run daily through April 7th and is included with admission to Universal Studios Florida or with an Annual Pass.
