Wildwood Grove Coming To Dollywood In 2019
This morning, Dollywood announced a new $37 millon expansion, Wildwood Grove. The new land is nature themed, centered around the massive Wildwood Tree. The tree speaks to the heart of Dollywood with its brightly colored leaves and butterflies. Throughout the season, different concerts and events will take place at the Wildwood Tree. Keeping with the nature theme, Wildwood Creek runs through the new area and will have splash pads for family fun.
The new area will also feature 5 new rides, including a new coaster. They are:
- Sycamore Swing
- Frogs and Fireflies
- The Mad Mockingbird
- Black Bear Trail
- Dragonflier (coaster)
In addition, guests will be able to meet certain residents of Wildwood Grove including Benjamin Bear, Flit & Flutter, and Franklin the frog.
In total, Wildwood Grove will have 11 new themed attractions for families to experience together.
