Voodoo Doughnut Opening At Universal Orlando CityWalk This Spring
Get your sweet tooth ready, the phenomenon known as Voodoo Doughnut is opening at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk this spring!
Loved for its sinfully delicious, delightfully weird lineup of fried creations, this unique doughnut shop from Portland, Oregon built a cult following that led to multiple locations throughout the states. Now, they’re taking their delicious fried delicacies to Orlando, which will be their first location east of the Mississippi.
The now iconic doughnut shop was created by Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon in Portland, Oregon in 2003. The pair had enjoyed experimenting with unique flavors to create eccentric pastries and they turned their passion into the phenomenon that is Voodoo Doughnut. As they say, the rest is history.
The CityWalk location will offer the same eclectic pink theming and irreverent names that can be found in current Voodoo Doughnut locations and feature their signature originals, plus one-of-a-kind selections such as the Dirt Doughnut, the Bacon Maple Bar, Grape Ape and, of course, Voodoo Doll doughnuts. Don’t let all the voodoo lingo scare you, always remember, Good Things Come in Pink Boxes!
No specific date has been announced for the grand opening, but Voodoo Doughnut will be located next to NBC Sports Grill & Brew, just steps away from the iconic Universal Globe and Universal Studios Florida entrance.
