Voodoo Doughnut Officially Open At Universal Orlando Resort
Voodoo Doughnut is now officially open at Universal CityWalk after soft-opening this past March. Get your taste buds ready for more than 50 unique and delightfully weird doughnuts!
The Portland-based shop made headlines when they opened their new venue on May 1st 2018 at Universal Orlando CityWalk. The art inside the venue has been created by Portland locals and includes a unique doughnut throne exclusive to this location! There is even an area where you can watch the master decorators prepare the toppings and icing designs on treats like Oh Captain, My Captain, Memphis Mafia and Mango Tango. Take a sneak peek tour below!
Co-founders Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon led the grand opening celebration, where – for the very first time live in person – they introduced the charismatic brand icon, the Baron of Voodoo Doughnut. This is their eight location and first to appear on the east coast. Check out highlights of the grand opening ceremony below:
Now everyone can enjoy originals and one-of-a-kind creations from coast to coast! Originals include the Bacon Maple Bar, the Grape Ape, and the iconic Voodoo Doll doughnut. For the ultimate fan there is the option to purchase a Coffin of Doughnuts which features a handmade wooden coffin filled with three dozen doughnuts.
You can find Voodoo Doughnut in Universal CityWalk near NBC Sports Grill & Brew and the entrance to Universal Studios Florida. Voodoo Doughnut is open Sunday-Thursday 7 a.m.–12 a.m. and Friday-Saturday 7 a.m.–1 a.m. For tickets and more information, visit the official Universal Orlando Resort website by clicking here.
