Volcano Bay Nights Returns This Fall with Scooby-Doo, Live Entertainment, and After-Hours Thrills

This fall, Universal’s Volcano Bay will transform into an after-dark tropical playground as Volcano Bay Nights returns for a limited run. The popular event offers guests the chance to experience the water theme park in a whole new light, complete with shorter attraction wait times, live entertainment, and a special visit from Scooby-Doo and the gang.

From the moment guests enter the lava-lit paradise, the energy shifts into nighttime mode. Popular rides such as the high-speed TeAwa the Fearless River, the heart-pounding Ko’okiri Body Plunge with its 125-foot drop, and the twisting, turning Krakatau Aqua Coaster will be open with reduced wait times. Throughout the park, live music sets the tone for a night of fun, including a lively Beach Bash on Waturi Beach hosted by a DJ. Guests can also snap photos with the iconic Mystery Machine and meet Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, Daphne — and even a few of their notorious animated foes, such as the Ghost Clown.

No party is complete without snacks, and Volcano Bay Nights has guests covered. Complimentary treats include Churro Bites with mango or chocolate dipping sauce and Golden Pineapple & Coconut Popcorn. For something extra, more than 100 drink choices are available with a Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup, while specialty menu items can be purchased at Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club, Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona, and select snack stands.

For an upgraded experience, private cabanas will be available starting at $279.99, offering a comfortable space to relax between adventures. These can be reserved at the concierge huts on the day of the event, subject to availability.

Tickets are priced at $99 plus tax per person and include standard self-parking. Universal Orlando Passholders receive a 10% discount with a valid Annual or Seasonal Pass and photo ID.

Volcano Bay Nights runs every Friday night from September 5 through October 31. Guests can enter Volcano Bay starting at 4:00pm, with the exclusive, limited-capacity event taking place from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.
