Six Flags St Louis Announces New Spinsanity Ride For 2017
It’s that time of the year when all the adrenaline junkies and coaster enthusiasts can find out what’s new at Six Flags for their next season of thrills! Grab some Dramamine because an exciting new ride is coming to Six Flags St. Louis in 2017!
Spinsanity will be a massive disc ride, first of its kind in the park. (The first disc ride built in the Six Flags chain was at Fiesta Texas last year). The flat ride brings a different thrill to the park as the massive disc spins first one direction and then another while swinging from side to side. Riders will sit in motorcycle-style seats facing outward and spin both clockwise and counterclockwise at a whopping fourteen revolutions per minute!
Park president, Pete Carmichael said:
“We continue to give our guests more and more unique thrills at Six Flags St. Louis. The multi-directional movement of the ride combined with the innovative seating design makes Spinsanity a must experience ride”.
Spinsanity Fast Facts:
- 40 riders are seated on motorcycle-style, pedestal seats facing outward;
