SeaWorld San Diego Announcements for March 2017
SeaWorld San Diego has many exciting announcements for March 2017! First up is SeaWorld’s Magic Weekends beginning March 4. This limited-time event shines the spotlight on the performance art that has entertained and intrigued children and adults for centuries. During the March 4-5 weekend, guests won’t want to miss illusionist Rick Thomas’ innovative illusions such as the Invisible Man and Twister. On March 11-12, Chipper Lowell, who has been featured on the show “Masters of Illusion”, will keep the audience laughing while keeping them guessing with his unique combination of comedy and illusion. Magician Michael Grandinetti, who has performed at stadiums and arenas all around the country, will captivate Seaworld San Diego audiences on March 18-19 with his mind-bending Mid-Air Pole Levitation, Shrinking Girl illusion, and many more! Finally, the married magician duo of Kyle and Mistie Knight, who have been featured on “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” and were the grand champions of SyFy’s magic competition show “Wizard Wars”, will captivate the audience on March 25-26. All shows will be performed live at SeaWorld’s Mission Bay Theater.
In addition, SeaWorld San Diego has announced two exciting admission offers. To celebrate all the fun SeaWorld has for their little guests, kids ages 3-5 that live in San Diego and Orange Counties can receive a “SeaWorld Preschool Pass” for $10. With this pass they can experience all that SeaWorld San Diego has to offer until December 31, 2017. Parents interested in registering for the pass can visit the SeaWorld website by March 17. Guests should then print and bring the confirmation along with a valid form of ID for the child (a copy of a certified birth certificate or passport) to the ticket windows at SeaWorld. Redemption and first use must occur by March 31, 2017. SeaWorld San Diego is also offering free admission to California and Arizona educators through the 2017 Teacher Appreciated Fun Card. This program is open to all currently credentialed K-12 teachers residing in California and Arizona. Teachers interested in registering should visit the SeaWorld website by May 19, 2017. Teachers will also be eligible for two free single-day companion tickets that will allow teachers to bring two friends or family members to SeaWorld as guests. Companion tickets must be claimed and redeemed by May 19, 2017.
Registration is now under way for SeaWorld Camps. Kids of all ages can enjoy some serious summer fun at SeaWorld’s camp programs with activities that include interacting with animals and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how they are cared for and trained. Day Camp is available for kindergarteners through 6th graders. These camps run for five day sessions on select weeks between June 19 and August 18. Five night Resident Camps for 5th through 12th graders take place between June 18 and August 20.
San Diego’s premier culinary event, the SeaWorld Seven Seas Craft Beer and Food Festival is set to begin on weekends in April. SeaWorld San Diego’s Executive Chef, Axel Dirolf, and his culinary team will tantalize guest’s taste buds with a slate of gourmet offerings. More than 100 local craft beer samples, more than a dozen wine selections, and nearly 60 food samplings will be available to guests at this five-weekend festival. The Seven Seas Craft Beer and Food Festival is included with park admission.
