Universal Orlando Resort is set to kick off a festive celebration with Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, running from February 3 to April 7.

This year’s extravaganza promises a unique Mardi Gras experience, featuring a diverse menu inspired by New Orleans and global Carnaval traditions. The celebration includes a dazzling Mardi Gras parade with all-new floats, live concerts by top artists like DJ Khaled, Ava Max, and Luis Fonsi on select nights, all accessible with regular theme park admission to Universal Studios Florida.

Key highlights of the event include a spectacular concert lineup featuring GRAMMY-winning artist DJ Khaled, pop sensation Ava Max, and Latin GRAMMY-winning artist Luis Fonsi. The Mardi Gras parade introduces a new theme this year, bringing the elements to life through six beautifully designed floats inspired by Earth, wind, fire, water, the sun, and the moon. These additions join the traditional New Orleans-inspired floats, creating a vibrant parade filled with high-energy music, performers in elaborate costumes, and an abundance of beads.

Foodies can embark on a culinary journey with over 60 tasting-sized items inspired by Carnaval celebrations worldwide. From New Orleans’ Fried Green Tomato Po’boy to Germany’s Chicken Schnitzel and Mexico’s Chilaquiles Verdes, guests can savor the rich and diverse flavors of Mardi Gras.
