Denver’s Lakeside Park To Debut New Roller Coaster
The classic Lakeside Park in Denver Colorado has revealed their latest “card up their sleeve” so to say. The park recently announced that they have acquired and assembled a Pinfari Zyklon Z64 for the upcoming season!
The ride had many homes and names while previously operating at the defunct Hamel’s Park in Louisiana, the Saginaw County Fair in Michigan, Fun Plex in Omaha, Nebraska and the now defunct Celebration City in Branson, Missouri.
Lakeside Park has not released the name of the ride just yet, but should be announced shortly. When the new coaster opens, it will be the 5th coaster at the Denver park. Images of the new ride were shared by amusement park fan Chelsea Miller.
Ride stats:
- Height: 50 feet
- Speed: 39 mph
- First Drop: 45 feet
- Length: 1919 feet
- Duration: 2 minutes, 30 seconds
- Trains: 6
- Riders per Train: 4
The new coaster is on schedule to debut this Summer. For tickets and more information, visit the official Lakeside website by clicking here.
