Kentucky Kingdom Extends Season Pass Sale Due To Site Going Down

Last night, June 5th, Kentucky Kingdom’s internet and telephone system went down. Marty Ernst, Kentucky Kingdom’s Director of Technology, released the following statement:

“it is really unfortunate that at the height of our season pass ordering, Kentucky Kingdom could not accommodate its customers, especially guests who were attempting to order season passes online.  We worked all night with our service provider to remedy the disruptions and hope to have our systems up and running this morning.”

Julie Johnson, Director of Sales & Marketing said: “Many of our guests have been frustrated by their inability to order season passes online.  Unfortunately, we’ve had provider problems on and off for the past several weeks.”

Johnson went on to say: “We want all our guests to know that the early bird season pass price of $69.95 (regular price $119.95) has been extended until June 19th.  This will give all our guests the opportunity to buy passes online (kentuckykingdom.com) or at the park.”

With the season pass, guests will be able to experience two all new rides. Scream Xtreme will spin riders 360 degrees, at speeds in excess of 25 miles per hour, while the Rock ‘n’ Roller will give kids and adults their first thrill ride experience.

Kentucky Kingdom now has more than 70 rides and attractions. General admission is $54.95. Admission for children (under 48 inches tall) and seniors (age 55 and over) is $39.95. The early bird price for a 2018 season pass is $69.95.

The benefits of a season pass include unlimited admission, free parking (a savings of $8.00 on every visit), $1.00 soft drinks (regular price is $3.00), and 20% off all food and merchandise purchased in the park. Free tubes for the water park and free sunscreen are offered to all Kentucky Kingdom guests.

Early bird season passes for 2018 also include new benefits: $12.00 in discounts for selected games, $18.00 in discounts for the new cabanas, and a $10.00 discount off the price of a large, family-size pizza (regularly $29.95) all season long. The additional $30.00 in games and cabana discounts, as well as the season-long $10.00 discount on the family-size pizza, will automatically be loaded onto each early bird season pass card.
