Kennywood Kicks Off 66th Annual Fall Fantasy Parades

Kennywood’s 66th Annual Fall Fantasy Parades will take place from August 8th through August 25th. Just like the inaugural event in 1950, Kennywood will step through the looking glass with “Alice in Wonderland” themed floats!

Fall Fantasy begins high-stepping through Kennywood on August 8 with nightly parades and marching bands from 190 high schools and colleges from throughout the tri-state area. Click here to see a list of all 150+ bands performing.With Fall Fantasy again hosting the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, and other famous figures from “Alice in Wonderland”, Kennywood wants to find the other characters that highlighted the inaugural parades: the band performers.

“Fall Fantasy has grown into a true highlight of the Kennywood summer calendar,” says Jerome Gibas, Kennywood General Manager. “It’s a great opportunity to showcase school marching bands from Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. To find folks who performed in the 1950 Fall Fantasy parade and bring them back as Guests of Honor would be a real honor for the park.“

Tickets are also available online for weekdays throughout the month of August. The discounted full-day price for seniors is $9.99 and Night Rider tickets are $4.99. Senior discount prices are only available for tickets purchased online.
