Holiday World Receives First Shipment of Thunderbird Track

Last week Holiday World located in Santa Claus, Indiana announced that in 2015 they would debut Thundrerbird; The world’s first launched wing coaster! This is huge as the park is currently known for wood coasters such as the popular “Voyage”. Since the announcement, the industry been buzzing about the parks “first major steel roller coaster”. On Monday, the first shipment of shinny new orange track was delivered to the park! This was one of 29 truck loads of track that was delivered to begin the construction process.

Thunderbird is scheduled to open in 2015. Stay tuned as we bring the latest on Holiday World’s new coaster!
