Fun Spot Reveals HUGE Halloween Event And New Escape Room
Fun Spot amusement parks in Orlando and Kissimmee are getting all spooky this fall with some new additions during their “Huge Halloween” event. The kid-friendly event will offer three major highlights: trick-or-treating, a limited-time offering of tasty “Fright Bites”, and an all new escape room!
We stopped by the park this afternoon for a sneak peek of the event, and caught up with Molly for a quick overview.
The “Real Escape Room” will only be offered at the Orlando location, but the “Fright Bites” and “trick-or-treat trails” will be available at both Florida parks.
Imagine if you will, the property is for sale and the owners are having an Open House. John Arie Jr, our CEO by day and Paranormal expert by night, is interested in the property, but when he goes to tour the house, things mysteriously begin to go wrong. John Jr sent out a distress message that sounded like he’s encountered ghosts and spirits at the Open House; and he hasn’t been seen since!
Fun Spot is inviting guests to their Orlando Open House to help solve the mystery of Fun Spot’s disappearing CEO, and escape from the house before time runs out!
The Real Escape Room will accommodate up to 6 people per tour and a minimum of 4 people will be required. Tickets are available for purchase for $15 per person at the Orlando park Admissions booth on the day of your visit, and reservations will be assigned at that time in 20-minute time slots.
Season Passholders can purchase discounted tickets to the escape room for only $10 per person from Sept. 30 – Oct. 4, and a minimum party of two is required.
Each party will have 15 minutes to solve the mystery and escape, and the remaining 5 minutes will allow employees to properly sanitize and prepare the room for the next group. Guests will be required to wear masks, gloves provided by a Fun Spot employee, and the use of cell phones, photography, and videography is prohibited. The Escape Room is not recommended for children under the age of 7, as there are dramatic special effects, including fog, lighting, sound effects and jump scares involved.
Reservations for the “Real Escape Room” begin October 1st and run through November 1st.
Guests 12 and under can enjoy Themed Candy Spots on Trick or Treat Trails at both Florida parks every Saturday in October from 4 pm-7 pm.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in costume. While costume masks are not allowed, regular face coverings are required. Guests are also asked to bring their own reusable bag and are invited to visit each stop once.
Social distance markers will be placed in front of each Candy Spot location to allow proper distancing. Employees will be wearing masks, gloves, and dropping candy into the guests’ bags. Hand sanitizer will be available by each table. CEO John Arie Jr says, “We love Trick or Treating here at Fun Spot America. Bring all your little monsters for a safe and frightfully good time!”
While there’s a lot of Fall activities going on, be sure to save room for Fun Spot’s Fright Bites found throughout both Florida parks! Treat yourself to limited time favorites such as apple cider slushies, pumpkin spice milkshakes, or seasoned French fries topped with Hot Cheetos dust.
The menus below (including spirit drinks) are being offered now through the end of October at both Florida parks.
