Fighting Gravity Performs at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for Holidays in Space
For the first time ever, Fighting Gravity is performing a nightly show!
At Holidays in Space 2017, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex welcomes guests to experience the wonder of Fighting Gravity. From Dec. 20 – 31, 2017, the internationally acclaimed dance performance group will defy gravity with their intense illusions and blacklight choreography during their first ever nightly show! We like to think Fighting Gravity is a nice mix between blue man group, David Copperfield, and Cirque du Soleil. In 2009, they were third-place finalists on the NBC TV show, “America’s Got Talent.”
Earlier tonight, we attended the passholder premiere of Holidays at Space 2017. Before the new show debuted, we were invited to an exclusive Fighting Gravity pre-show reception — which provided guests some delicious complimentary treats as well as hot cocoa!
The event offered some rare photo opportunities with visitor complex characters, the Lunar Rover, and even the Mars Rover Concept Vehicle!
At 7:00pm, Fighting Gravity took the stage and performed some amazing floating effects and awesome illusions.
After being mesmerized, the show wrapped up with an unexpected rockin’ fireworks finale! It’s one thing to see Fighting Gravity on TV, but to finally see them in person was incredible. This was easily one of our favorite seasonal shows in all of Florida, especially with the choreographed fireworks finale. We highly recommend seeing it!
Fighting Gravity will perform nightly from Dec. 20, 2017 through Dec. 31, 2017, with the exception of Dec. 25. The performances are included with admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. In addition, the visitor complex will also be decorated for the holidays, including a 35-foot-tall holiday mosaic tree, illuminated shooting stars and the NASA insignia “dressed up” for the season.
The visitor complex is offering a Fighting Gravity Premium Viewing Package that includes preferred seating for the show, plus a meet and greet with the performers. This package will also include a commemorative pin, desserts and beverages, and a printed photo. The package is only available for performances on Dec. 21-31 (except Christmas Day). The package price is $25 for adults and $22 for children ages 3-11, in addition to daily admission.
