Escape From Pompeii Closed Indefinitely Following Fire At Busch Gardens Williamsburg

A fire at Busch Gardens Williamsburg has caused the park to close Escape from Pompeii, a shoot-the-chutes water ride. The fire began Saturday night on the ride’s roof and James City County firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Thankfully, no guests were in the area at the time of the fire as the ride was not operating at the time.

Escape from Pompeii is closed indefinitely as the park assesses the damage.
