Dorney Park Hosts Guest Appreciation Day
Now that Labor Day has passed, many parks are no longer doing daily operation. That doesn’t mean the fun has to stop though! Dorney Park has announced that the park will be closed Saturday September 10th, but that it will reopen Sunday September 11th for Guest Appreciation Day! The celebration features discounted tickets to the park and some special treats for Season Passholders.
Season Passholders can kick off their Sunday morning and the Halloween season with a Costume Party Character Breakfast in Carousel Grove. The event will take place from 9-10:30 AM and tickets are free for passholders.
In addition to a yummy breakfast, passholders and their Bring-A-Friend guests will have the opportunity the preview the two new Haunt mazes for this year’s Halloween Haunt from 6:30-8:30 PM. Blood on the Bayou features a New Orleans theme and guests will come face to face with the demons that haunt the French quarter. In The Ward, the orderlies are trying to prepare for the impending closure and they might not let you out alive.
Throughout the entire month of September, First Responder Appreciation Days will be happening at Dorney Park. The park will pay tribute to the dedicated men and women who work in emergency services and military by offering them a free regular admission ticket. In addition, they may purchase discounted admission tickets for members of their family.
First Responders who qualify are:
- Police
- Firefighters
- EMS
- Dispatchers
