Dollywood Bursts into Spring with the Return of Its Flower & Food Festival

As the Smoky Mountains awaken with springtime color, Dollywood is once again transforming into a vibrant celebration of blooms, bites, and breathtaking entertainment. The award-winning theme park ushers in the season with the return of its annual Flower & Food Festival, showcasing more than one million blossoms, creative cuisine, and a full lineup of shows and experiences — all part of Dollywood’s ongoing 40th anniversary celebration.

Now in its sixth year, the festival features the park’s iconic Mosaiculture floral sculptures, which add a whimsical touch to the already scenic surroundings. Returning favorites such as the butterfly umbrella installation, the family of playful bears, and the heartfelt tribute to Dolly Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors” scene make their appearance alongside a brand-new display — two pink fluttering butterflies perched near The Dolly Parton Experience.

Dollywood’s culinary team is also stepping into the spotlight this season with a refreshing menu inspired by the colors and flavors of spring. A tasting pass can be purchased in the park or online for $42.99 plus tax or $39.99 plus tax for gold and diamond passholders. With this pass, guests can sample five food offerings at Flower & Food Festival culinary locations.

This year’s festival menu includes fresh new items including the Salad of Many Colors—named after Dolly’s beloved song, “Coat of Many Colors”—loaded street fries, pesto caprese panini, Smoky Mountain grilled corn, blueberry pie milkshake, and wild berry cream cheese funnel cake. And of course everyone’s favorite, Cinnamon Bread.

Entertainment takes center stage with an expanded slate of shows, including the debut of Play On, a brand-new production honoring 40 years of Dollywood entertainment history. Additional performances at the Robert F. Thomas Chapel feature a rotating roster of musical acts, from operatic vocals to Appalachian jazz and Americana blends. Popular returning shows like From the Heart–The Life & Music of Dolly Parton and Heidi Parton’s Kin & Friends continue to draw crowds.
