Coaster Nation Comes Across a “Wicked” Kings Dominion Artifact
If you ever seen the show “American Pickers” you know that random artifacts can appear in random places.
The staff at Coaster Nation found that out in the most interesting manner over the weekend in Scranton, Pa, when one of our staff came across the former entrance sign for the Hurler in a residential driveway.
This sign was identified as the ride sign that graced the Kings Dominion Hurler. It was auctioned off during a fundraiser event last Fall.
Hurler opened in 1994, and closed in 2015. The ride was reworked into the world-renowned Twisted Timbers, which opened earlier this year.
Have you’ve ever stumbled across a unique park souvenir or artifact? We would love to hear your stories — let us know on our socials!
