Carowinds Offers The Kid-Friendly Best Summer Ever
School is out, and fun at Carowinds is in – kid-friendly fun! This summer, the park offers everything from an all-new event that focuses just on the children- KidsFest, to movie night with family-favorite flicks like Frozen, to hanging out with America’s favorite beagle, Snoopy! Make plans now for the ultimate summer party!
What better way to beat the summer heat than a big splash with friends and family! The Carolinas largest waterpark, Carolina Harbor is now open with waves full of fun for all ages!
Whether your family enjoys plummeting down waterslides or playing in the waves – there’s something for everyone! And best of all, entry to the waterpark is included with the price of Carowinds admission.
Also new this year, families can party in two states at ONE time! Every night beginning at 8 p.m., Club Carowinds cranks up the volume and transforms the midway near Carowinds’ main entrance into a high-energy dance party. Guests can even show off their skills in lip sync and karaoke battles on the Plaza Stage.
Now through August 20, guests can enjoy Dine-In Movie night every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 p.m.. Gather around the big screen and enjoy some great food while watching your family’s favorite movies inside of Harmony Hall. Enjoy some quality family time while enjoying some family-favorite flicks like The Incredibles, Frozen and Finding Nemo.
Carowinds will host its first-ever, KidsFest on July 16-17. This extra-special event will feature interactive games and activities designed just for kids and their families. Music from the popular kids’ group Choo Choo Soul will rock the house!
All season long guests can hang out with America’s favorite Beagle and the rest of the PEANUTS™ gang in Carowinds 12-acre children’s area, Planet Snoopy. After a day full of fun, don’t forget to stop by Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular as Snoopy and his friends light up the night’s sky from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Kids shows and rides aren’ the only thing Carowinds has to offer. Adults have a huge variety of big thrill rides to pick from such as FURY 325.
