Busch Gardens Tampa Shines with Holiday Magic as Christmas Town Returns

Busch Gardens Tampa is set to dazzle guests with its annual Christmas Town celebration, running daily from November 15 through January 5. This year, the park transforms into a winter wonderland with millions of twinkling lights, festive shows, and holiday attractions, offering a magical holiday experience that’s included with park admission.

A standout addition for 2023, the iconic Skyride will sparkle with a new festive glow, giving guests an aerial view of Busch Gardens adorned in its best holiday decor. Alongside this, the park’s beloved coasters and attractions, including the newly debuted Phoenix Rising, will be open for visitors to enjoy under the glow of holiday lights. Longtime favorite experiences such as Santa’s North Pole Experience, the Holly Jolly Express, and the celebrated Christmas on Ice show promise to fill the air with seasonal cheer.

Guests can indulge in exclusive seasonal treats, from holiday-inspired hot chocolates to freshly baked cookies, as well as all-new holiday menu items crafted just for Christmas Town. A gingerbread cookie decorating station will let visitors design their own edible masterpieces, while a selection of new craft cocktails brings a spirited twist to the festivities. Unique holiday shopping, festive photo opportunities, and more create endless ways for families and friends to make lasting memories.

This season, returning entertainment includes the popular Christmas on Ice, an awe-inspiring ice-skating show at the Moroccan Palace Theater featuring routines set to classic Christmas tunes. Mrs. Claus’ Storytime will captivate young audiences with enchanting holiday tales, while Busch Gardens Holiday Magic showcases dazzling illusions and choreography at the Stanleyville Theater. Three Kings Journey presents an inspiring musical retelling of the Wise Men’s journey, and the Holly Jolly Express train invites guests to sing along to holiday favorites as they tour the park.

In addition, families can enjoy Elmo’s Christmas Wish, a lively show with beloved Sesame Street characters, and capture memories with seasonal characters throughout the park. Each evening, Holiday in the Sky offers a grand finale with a stunning fireworks display set to classic holiday music.

For those looking to meet Santa, the North Pole Experience will be open, welcoming guests to visit Santa’s workshop and share their holiday wishes. Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland brings even more holiday charm, with interactive displays and photo opportunities featuring characters from the beloved holiday tale.
