A Taste of Universal’s Volcano Bay
Opening May 25th 2017, Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay will be the most advanced waterpark ever built! With the power of wearables, there’s no standing in long lines, wrestling with tubes, or waiting for the fun to begin. It’s a tropical paradise just steps away from everything Universal Orlando Resort has to offer!
With the most advanced waterpark, comes amazing food! Universal’s Volcano Bay is taking vacation cuisine to the next level.
Choose from more than 60 unique offerings inspired by flavors of the South Pacific, including slowly-smoked, glazed Hawaiian Ribs with boniato mash and sweet plantains. Or Coconut Curry Chicken made with braised chicken, green coconut curry sauce, white rice, sweet coconut and fresh cilantro. Classic family favorites include Chicken Fingers, Hamburgers and Pizza. And refreshing specialties like Jerked Mahi Sandwiches, Mango BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches and decadent Chocolate Pineapple Upside Down Cake are just a taste of this all-new island retreat. Volcano Bay will open May 25 as a water theme park with unbelievable theming and incredible immersion. The signature attraction will be the Krakatau Aqua Coaster — a water coaster going straight through the giant Krakatau volcano. But that’s not all! Volcano Bay will offer something for everyone – including a multi-directional wave pool with sandy beaches, a peaceful winding river, twisting multi-rider raft rides, speeding body slides that drop from the top of the volcano into the waters below and so much more. Plus, there will be no waiting in lines using the TapuTapu wearable, no carrying rafts or tubes up stairs, and no hassles at all!
