Spring Into Fun At Busch Gardens Wiliamsburg!

The fun has already kicked off with “Elmo Rocks!” for children and their families. Everyone is sure to enjoy singing and dancing along with this Rock ‘N Roll show! The show runs through May 1st in the Globe Theatre.
Elmo Rocks! (Now – May 1)
It’s a Rock ‘n Roll sunny day at Busch Gardens Globe Theatre with the hilarious musical show, “Elmo Rocks!” Starring Elmo, Zoe, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, the audience will be captivated by the transformation of the Sesame Street cast into “The Rockin’ Elmo Band!” Children and their families will love dancing and singing along with this high-energy rock ‘n roll show. Experience the naturally fun wild side of Busch Gardens when animal expert Jack Hanna brings his animals to the park on April 2 and 3!
Hanna is the host of the popular TV shows “Into the Wild” and “Wild Countdown” as well as Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Join “Jungle Jack” and his animal ambassadors as they examine the importance of wildlife conservation. With his infectious energy, Jack Hanna makes animal and conservation education entertaining for the whole family. Jack Hanna’s presentation is FREE with park admission.

All Aboard! Genevieve Goings and Constantine “DC” Abramsonm stars of CHOO CHOO SOUL will perform their counting, ABC’s and classic re-make hit songs April 23 at Busch Gardens. These ten-year Disney Channel veterans and Parents’ Choice award-winning duo will deliver a soulful spin for both children and parents to enjoy. Choo Choo Soul will be FREE with park admission.
Choo Choo Soul Show times: 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. Limited seating available.
Laurie Berkner, award-winning children’s musicianand star of television’s Nick Jr. and Sprout channels will appear at Busch Gardens’ Italian theater April 30.
Laurie, known as the uncrowned queen of children’s music and the power behind the progressive “kindie rock” movement, will perform her greatest hits like “Bumblebee (Buzz Buzz),” “Victor Vito,” “Pig On Her Head” and “Rocketship Run” with her longtime keyboardist Susie Lampert. Laurie Berkner is FREE with park admission.

In other awesome news, Glory of the Gardens will be returning for the 2016 season! The concert will be held at the Festhaus Park. The first concert will be held on May 7th. Artists set for that day are Skillet, Family Force 5, and Disciple. The following day, May 8th, The artists performing will be Newsboys, Hawk Nelson, and Ryan Stephenson.
There’s so much more scheduled for an entire summer of fun at Busch Gardens Williamsburg!
March 19 – 24: The Happy Dutchmen Band will jam out in the Das Festhaus
May 7: Imagination Movers will take place.
May 14: there will be an appearance of Kidz Bop Live, bringing current hits performed by kids in the “Make Some Noise” Tour.
May 27th – June 26: The Food and Wine festival will return on select days, it will also take place park-wide.
July 3 – 5: The park will be putting on a thrilling fireworks show. There’s no better way to bring in the holiday!
July 4: Lee Greenwood will be coming to town for a show at the Royal Palace Theatre!
September 2 – 18: The Bier Fest will be taking place during Oktoberfest. While attending the first annual Bier Fest we were given a sneak peek of what’s to come in 2016! Click Here.
September 23 – October 3o: If you like being scared, check out Howl-O-Scream! One of the best haunted events in the world!
November 25 – December 31: Christmas Town! (This is a separate ticketed event)
If you missed out on visiting in 2015, you missed out on TEMPESTO! In 2015, Busch Gardens installed a new roller coaster called Tempesto. The ride received a ton of media attenntion and debuted with rave reviews! We were there for a soft opening of the new ride and interviewed some of the first time riders. Check it out!
If that isn’t enough, Busch Gardens recently announced they will be constructing an all NEW WOODEN COASTER for 2017!
