Toothsome Chocolate Factory Coming To Universal CityWalk In 2016
A new chocolate factory will be joining the all-star restaurant lineup at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk in 2016. The new Toothsome Chocolate Factory & Savory Feast Emporium at Universal CityWalk will be located in the former NBA City restaurant location, and will offer both a full-service menu and a retail store full of gourmet sweets that guests can watch being made!
Universal Orlando described the new eatery as
“the most spectacularly delicious example yet of what happens when the Universal Creative team that designs theme park attractions comes together with the culinary team that creates blockbuster food and beverage experiences.”
This new steampunk themed factory would make even Willy Wonka’s head spin! Universal says guests will indulge their appetite amidst towering smoke stacks, funky gadgetry, and staff wearing unique Steampunk fashion.
Aside from amazing desserts, the factory will also be serving up some delicious dinner meals as well. Universal Orlando’s blog teases that “unique twists on classic steak, seafood and pasta entrees, gourmet burgers, sandwiches, incredible salads, all-day brunch and more” will be offered in its menu.

They also have some amazing milkshake offerings planned to get your taste buds jumpin!
- Chocolate x5: An explosion of chocolate with chocolate spirals, chunks, ice-cream and whipped cream.
- Bacon Brittle: A fun twist on a breakfast favorite with bacon ice cream, bacon brittle, chocolate covered bacon and bacon caramel.
- Espresso Buzzzz: A coffee lover’s dream with coffee ice-cream and chocolate covered beans.
- Red Velvet: A milkshake topped with a Red Velvet cupcake… enough said.
- Key Lime Pie: We’ve taken this classic Florida dessert and turned it into a delicious shake. You’ll even get a slice of pie on top!
The sundaes have some really unique flavors such as Salted Caramel Flan, Chocolate Brownie Bark and S’mores. This extreme twist on a summer favorite features layers of chocolate ice-cream, chocolate sauce, marshmallow cream and graham crackers!
While inside the 19th century-inspired Steampunk chocolate factory, visitors will be able to see these amazing treats being made right in front of their eyes! Then, they’ll also be able to visit the retail shop and purchase some of these amazing desserts to take home!
Construction has already started and The Toothsome Chocolate Factory is said to open later in 2016. This announcement seems to squash recent rumors of the former NBA City being turned into a WWE Hall of Fame museum.
