We Step Inside Ghoul Mansion Haunted House
Every so often, we stumble upon a hidden gem while haunting. This fall we came across the small town of Sharon, PA aka (Scarin’ PA). Here, the sky was lit up with an iconic spot light that locals say signal the return of another haunting season at Ghoul Mansion.
Ghoul Mansion has been bringing the frights to Sharon for the last 22 years making it the longest running attraction in the area. This past Saturday we stepped through the doors to find out exactly why “Fear Is Good“.
Ghoul Mansion features 2 different attractions including Ghoul Mansion, and a unique Hooded Haunt Sensory Overload. Both attractions are packed full of actors and offer very different experiences.
The first attraction we checked out was Ghoul Mansion. This attraction lasts about 20 minutes and features 3 different themed areas. The first area is the long running Carnevil. If you have coulrophobia than this will have you hoping you are with good friends to help you get through as Carnevil is packed with the most craziest and twisted clowns you have ever seen. Don’t be too distracted by the great 3D art as there is something waiting for you around every turn.
The next area is The Darkness. This is a maze that is in total darkness. While you may have trouble finding your way out the creatures that lurk with in will have no trouble finding you. All we can say is good luck if you venture in!
After you find your way through the Darkness you will find yourself entering SBI. Other wise known as the Scarin’ Behavior Institute.
SBI houses the criminally insane that have terrorized Sharon for years. Once inside you learn things have gone terribly wrong as the medical staff have lost their minds and they themselves have started turning dangerously insane. Make sure you watch your back as you never know what will be creeping up on you as things will come at you from every direction. Once you survive Ghoul Mansion you find out that the terror doesn’t stop at the Gift Shop as you make your way to the other attraction.
Another great attraction is known as Hooded Haunt Sensory Overload. As the name suggests you will be hooded and sent through into the basement of Ghoul Mansion to meet the crazies that terrorize this attraction.
After surviving Hooded Haunt, guests are allowed to keep the hood which will serve as a reminder that you got to experience this unique attraction.
Ghoul Mansion is a member of the Haunted Attraction Association but unlike many of the haunted attractions we have experienced throughout the years, this may be one of the most reasonably priced of all! They pride in keeping the cost low and affordable while providing quality professional scares for the whole family.
