This week we got our big dose of Valravn updates from Cedar Point! Cedar Fair’s flagship park gave glimpses of some of the first track being laid for the World’s Tallest, Fastest and Longest Dive Coaster! Cedar Point’s Director of Communications, Tony Clark, provided the photos of video via social media of the construction progress happening on the site of the latest bird to join the coaster nest! The work on the scream machine appears to be coming along as planned as the season points towards the park’s non-operating monthsuntil next May. While it’s a sad time for park guests, it gives The Point time to do their off-season chores. Let’s have a peek at what Valravn is starting to look like!

Tony then released a PointCast Minute video on Cedar Point’s YouTube channel showing the footers and other updates from the site:

As you can see, Cedar Point is already busy getting things prepped and perfect for the 2016 season. To get your own proof of Valravn being built, be sure to stop by The Point during their Haunt at HalloWeekends festivities! Remember, now and after the season ends, you can ride Valravn–virtually. There’s a virtual reality app available for download on your phone and special goggles that can be purchased. More information about the virtual reality component of the record-breaking ride can be found on Cedar Point’s official Valravn website. You know the drill: if you have pictures of your poses on the Valravn Throne at the preview center or anywhere at the site, share it with us! Scream On!
