ProSlide Launches A New Hybrid Water Slide Technology!

For the first time in its 30-year history, ProSlide has launched two world-first technologies together in a single hybrid ride. The first install of the new FlyingSaucer/RocketBlast attractions was introduced at Siam Park in Tenerife, Spain, earlier this month and branded as ‘Singha‘ by the park.
“Our guests love speed and are looking for revolutionary rides,” said Christoph Kiessling, managing director of Siam Park. “That’s Singha. Its constant acceleration, extreme curves and adrenaline-pumping drops will drive guests to our park for years.”
The hybrid ride’s RocketBlast coaster takes water propulsion to a whole new level by marrying technology from LIM roller coasters with turbine technology. These sections of the ride include steeper hills opposed to traditional ‘blaster‘ coasters that use rows of water jets on to push the rafts up every climb.
Meanwhile, the massive FlyingSaucer sections of the ride deliver high speeds and high thrills. FlyingSAUCER features combined with a RocketBLAST water coaster takes the water riding experience to a whole new level!
“This new shape is steeply angled to create the constant acceleration and ‘drop-and-dive’ sensations, much like a Formula One car race turn,” ProSlide said.

The new water jet propulsion technology allows for steeper climbs and the world’s first SAUCER features along with steep, smooth water coaster hills & valleys with maximum centrifugal force curves. It won’t be long and these babies will be hitting parks all across the states!
