Cedar Point Releasing New Signature Beer Plus Hosting Brew and BBQ Event

Cedar Point has announced a new event in the park on May 22-24 and May 29-31, 2015. The event, titled Brew and BBQ, will feature over 100 craft micro and specialty beers, including a new signature ROUGABREW!

Cedar Point and The Brew Kettle in Strongsville OH have teamed up to bring craft beer fans a beer to enjoy at the theme park this Summer; ROUGABREW! Named to welcome the new coaster Rougarou, the first floorless coaster at Cedar Point, Rougabrew is a Helles lager style craft beer made to be enjoyed by all craft beer enthusiasts.

Brew Kettle owner Chris Russo said:

“We made Rougabrew to appeal to all craft drinkers and are very excited to have the opportunity to introduce our craft beers to the customers of Cedar Point with the launch of the Rougarou Coaster!”

Rougabrew will be available in the park in bottles as well as on draft and will be 5% ABV, 20 IBUs.

The Beer and BBQ event  will take place in the new Lakeside Pavilion from 5:00 pm until park close during May 22-24 and May 29-31. A variety of BBQ options including chicken and pulled pork will be available for taste testing!

Online tickets are $55.99 and will include FIVE tasting plates of food, TEN, 4 oz beer samples of your choice, park admission, and live music! Passholders can purchase admission for Brews and BBQ for only $15.00. *Tickets purchased at the gate day of the event will be $10.00 more*.
