Falcon’s Fury Opens at Busch Gardens Tampa
Falcon’s Fury, The 335 foot tower at Busch Gardens Tampa, is the tallest free standing drop tower in the world. It’s also the only drop tower that drops riders face down.
SO….. when will it open?? After months of problems and delays, Busch Gardens opened the ride to employees last week.
On Saturday, they held a soft opening for the public and invited guests. Among the special guests to ride was the musical group “The All American Rejects”.
The ride lifts guests 365 feet high before plunging them at 60 miles per hour while they are facing downward. Reactions so far from fans on social media range from “Awesome” to “Incredible” to “Insane.”
Falcon’s Fury, which was originally set to launch May 1, will “officially” open very soon, said park spokesman Travis Claytor.
