Six Flags America Celebrates One Last Boo Fest Before Closing Its Gates Forever
As the leaves fall and the season winds down, Six Flags America is going out in style with its largest Kids Boo Fest to date — and there’s still time to join the fun. The park will keep the Halloween magic alive for two more weekends through November 2, offering families a mix of thrills, shows, and glowing nighttime surprises before the park officially closes for the season.

Families visiting the park can look forward to a full lineup of live entertainment, parades, and interactive attractions designed to celebrate the lighter side of Halloween. The event runs Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with something new around every corner.
The expanded Clown Town Boo Zone welcomes little monsters to meet friendly clowns, get face paint, and explore the fog-filled Haze House , a whimsical, glowing maze of lights and sound. Nearby, guests can join the Eek Squad for a hilarious mystery in The Marvelous Mysteries of Fright Manor, a high-energy whodunnit packed with dance battles, riddles, and audience participation at The Exposition Center.

New this year, the Trick-or-Treat Trail glows under blacklight, transforming into a neon candy wonderland where kids can collect sweets from costumed characters surrounded by shining pumpkins and upbeat tunes. The trail runs Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
Guests can also rock out with Frankie, Wanda the Witch, Count D, and Mummy during Monster Mash Bash, join Wolfie and the Pups for a howling good time at Wolfie’s Howl-O-Ween Party, and watch daring acrobatics on Celebration Stage during Circus Street. Over at the Grand Theater, magician Aaron Radatz wows the audience with his Vegas-style illusions and comedy, while Half-Dead High featuring DJ Frankie Stein brings undead energy to the dance floor.
Even more chills and cheers await with Lost Spirits, a theatrical story blending mystery and monsters, and Steam Heist: a fast-paced stunt show filled with steampunk flair. Each day wraps up on Main Street with the DJ Dance Party – A Spooktacular Send-Off, where park entertainers and costumed characters gather for one last boogie beneath the stars.

Between shows, guests can climb aboard fan-favorite coasters and family attractions across the park. High-adrenaline rides include Superman Ride of Steel, Firebird, Ragin Cajun, The Joker’s Jinx, The Wild One, and Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth. Younger guests can enjoy classics like ElectroDerby, Flying Carousel, Tea Cups, and the attractions of Looney Tunes Movie Town.
After more than two decades of thrills, memories, and laughter, Six Flags America will close its gates for good following its final operating day on November 2. The decision marks the end of an era for the Maryland park, which has welcomed millions of guests since opening in 1999. From its early days as Wild World and Adventure World to its long run under the Six Flags banner, the park has been a cornerstone of family fun in the Mid-Atlantic. Fans are encouraged to visit one last time to relive their favorite moments before the coasters fall silent and the lights fade for the final time.
With glowing trails, high-energy shows, and plenty of candy, Six Flags America’s Kids Boo Fest is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween and say farewell to a park that has been part of local tradition for generations.
