Carowinds Prepares for a Thrilling 2025 Season with New Rides and Expanded Events
Carowinds is set to open its gates for the 52nd season on March 15, welcoming guests with an exciting array of new experiences and returning favorites.
Alongside the expansion of Camp Snoopy with two new family-friendly rides, the 400-acre amusement park—straddling the North Carolina-South Carolina state line—will feature a dynamic lineup of seasonal events. From thrilling roller coasters like Fury 325 to live stage shows and water park adventures at Carolina Harbor, Carowinds is primed for a year filled with entertainment.
Ryan Allen, Carowinds’ director of live entertainment, emphasized the park’s commitment to delivering world-class experiences:
“In addition to two new major rides opening later this season in Camp Snoopy, our expanded event offerings for 2025 will help families make new memories and have more fun as the midways come to life on the state line.”
Highlights of the 2025 event lineup include:
• Spring Break Days (April 11 – 27) – Two weeks of springtime excitement featuring live entertainment, daily festivities, and a special 10th-anniversary celebration for Fury 325.
• NEW! Summerbration (Select days in June & July) – A vibrant summer festival featuring exclusive entertainment, seasonal activities, and limited-time experiences.
• NEW! Viva La Fiesta (July 19 – Aug. 10) – A high-energy celebration of cultural traditions with colorful sights, rhythmic sounds, and authentic flavors for the whole family.
• Oktoberfest (Sept. 13 – Nov. 2) – An immersive experience inspired by Germany’s legendary festival, featuring authentic cuisine, craft beer, and themed entertainment.
• SCarowinds (Sept. 12 – Nov. 2) – The Carolinas’ most thrilling Halloween event returns for its 25th year, featuring haunted mazes, terrifying attractions, and family-friendly daytime fun with Tricks and Treats.
• WinterFest (Nov. 22 – Jan. 4) – A dazzling holiday celebration with millions of lights, oversized décor, seasonal treats, live performances, and festive family experiences.
