Hersheypark and S&S Worldwide Unveil Twizzlers Twisted Gravity Gondolas at IAAPA Expo
Hersheypark and S&S Worldwide took center stage at IAAPA Expo 2024 in Orlando, Florida, to unveil the gondola design for the highly anticipated Twizzlers Twisted Gravity attraction. Set to debut in summer 2025 as the tallest Screamin’ Swing in the world, this thrilling addition to the Hersheypark skyline promises an unforgettable experience for visitors.
Designed with the iconic Twizzlers red hue, the attraction will feature two 20-person gondolas, each uniquely themed to represent classic Twizzlers flavors—Strawberry, Cherry, Hershey’s Chocolate, and Black Licorice. This colorful tribute to the beloved candy makes Twizzlers Twisted Gravity a one-of-a-kind experience, seamlessly integrating Hershey’s sweet legacy into its design.
Riders who meet Hersheypark’s “Hershey’s” height category (48-54 inches) or taller can take on the 1-minute, 10-second journey that ascends to a breathtaking 137 feet. With speeds reaching 68 miles per hour and exhilarating zero-G moments, the pendulum swings high over Spring Creek, offering a thrill-packed adventure in The Hollow region of the park.
Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will join the extensive lineup of more than 70 attractions, including a water park and a zoo, all included with general admission. The addition further enhances Hersheypark’s reputation as a destination for unique, family-friendly thrills.
Guests can also look forward to exclusive Twizzlers-themed experiences available only at Hersheypark. These include meeting the Twizzlers Character, measuring their height in the Twizzlers height category, and enjoying a ride aboard the Twizzlers-themed train on Candymonium, the park’s signature hypercoaster.
