Busch Gardens Tampa To Debut 10th Roller Coaster Spring 2024
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has revealed “Phoenix Rising”, the park’s 10th roller coaster set to debut in Spring of 2024.
This new ride will take guests above the Serengeti Plain and explore the vibrant Pantopia section of the park. It’s a suspended swinging family roller coaster that adds an extra twist by allowing cars to swing side to side as they race above the Serengeti.
“Phoenix Rising” will be an extraordinary journey for our seasoned coaster enthusiasts and younger thrill-seekers alike,” said Stewart Clark, president of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. “Joining a comprehensive coaster collection, this new attraction reinforces our commitment to provide guests with new, immersive and one-of-a-kind experiences.”
What makes “Phoenix Rising” really stand out is the rides on-board audio system. This unique feature adds to the excitement as riders enjoy a custom created soundtrack while navigating twists, turns, and surprises.
This roller coaster by Bolliger & Mabillard will reach speeds of up to 44 mph and has a minimum height requirement of 42 inches, making it perfect for thrill-seeking families to enjoy together.
Phoenix Rising will replace the former SandSerpent roller coaster that closed earlier this year. Annual Pass members will get early access to ride before its public debut in spring 2024.
